When we seem surrounded more and more each day by people who hate God and his Word and less by His people. It's easy to feel defeated in a world of gloom and doom. We need to remember that we are a people of hardened hearts and unclean lips (Isaiah 6:5), that we don't need to focus on ourselves, but to humbly and passionately ask for Gos to sear our lips and make us holy to carry his Word to a lost and dying people. But, sometimes we get so focused on ourselves, and our own problems that we get to look beyond to see the whole picture of what God has for us. Jesus puts in each of our hearts a message to share with lost in this world, a message that should burn in our hearts so hot that we can't help but tell about all that we've seen and heard (Acts 4:20), so much that it feels that "our lips are burning with words unsaid". It's not the truth that rings in your ears when you feel alone and overwhelmed and abandoned, it's the lies of satan himself making you captive to his destruction. Sometimes it feels like you can't go on one more day, like the burden of life is too hard, just lean on Him. Jesus is bigger than that, He is more than enough. When we die to ourselves, and come into a relationship with Christ, a lot of times we have to burn bridges of a lifestyle, an addiction, friends that are a bad influence or anything else that hinders us, and for a while that leaves you feeling very alone. The cry of this song is for Him to fill us up so that we overflow, to be surrounded by dry ground, by those who who don't know Jesus and the completion he brings into your life, so that we can pour into them and that Jesus, who is the Light, would just Light up the darkness in this world.

Jesus always promised us that we would be full to overflowing. Even though the brokenness seems like it will last forever, we have to remember that God is still God even in times like those. A lot of times it feels as if the sun can just disappear from the sky. The first part of the song is about depression. "Legend" Bible Study:This song comes in two parts for me, but they both are very closely connected. anyone who says different or speaks bad about this album definitely isnt a Mary J fan.
